Like most Interior Redesign Specialists, I have been moving furniture around since I was a little girl.  And like clock work, at least once a month, rather than going outside and playing with my friends, I was rearranging my bedroom furniture (pulling everything out of my bedroom into the hallway.)  It seemed so very easy for me to visualize the placement of my furniture, lighting, posters (art work), and my nick knacks (accessories).  I think back now of how I felt when I rearranged my bedroom, it was the instant gratification, it felt new, cleans, peaceful, and the best part, I completed it in one day.

My passion for rearranging furniture grew throughout the years into adulthood and I began helping my family & friends solving their decorating dilemmas creating warm, inviting, comfortable, beautiful, and functional rooms.  I’ll admit... I have one bad habit that I have developed over the years… each time I step into any home or business office/space I mentally empty the room and rearrange/redesign it.  I am constantly thinking of ways to make the space more inviting, functional, and a place that you would want to just sit, relax, and take in the surroundings.

At the time I had no idea that this type of interior redesign career existed until a number of years back I tuned into the HGTV television redesign segment called Decorating Cents.  It was then that I realized, “this was it, this is what I wanted to do!”  I then began to research and located a professional redesigner, Ruthanne Hatfield who has filmed a number of segments for Decorating Cents featured on HGTV.  I immediately contacted her and attended 2 of her classes, one of which consisted of a week long training, redecorating homes in the Las Vegas & Henderson valley six  years ago.

After completing her classes successfully, I went out on my own immediately and formed my own company called Redesigning Women which is located in Henderson, NV.  For over six years, I have not only redesigned rooms in a day, I also assist Real Estate Agents with their hard to sell listings and speak often to groups of Realtors showing them how they can help their clients sell their home faster & for the highest price by improving the appearance of their clients home. I am a current member of the Las Vegas Better Business Bureau Chapter, IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialist), and the Interior Redesign Exchange (Real Estate Stagers). My goal is to create a comfortable, functional space for my clients using their existing furniture, lighting, artwork, and accessories.  Proper furniture placement can open up a room and make it feel fabulous and the best part… in most cases it can be completed in 1 Day.
